Abstract
Air memiliki peran penting bagi kehidupan sehari-hari dan tidak terkecuali bagi petani yang membutuhkan air bersih untuk mengembangkan sistem irigasi pertanian. Ketika memasuki musim kemarau para petani di Negeri Haruru, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani Taman Sari Indah mengalami kekurangan pasokan air. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Pattimura melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan tujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi sumber air tanah dengan metode geolistrik dan pembuatan sumur bor. Metode kegiatan PkM menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Tahapan kegiatan PkM terdiri dari enam tahapan, yaitu yaitu 1) survei lapangan, 2) perencanaan kegiatan, 3) pengambilan data, 4) pengolahan data lapangan, 5) sosialisasi data lapangan, dan 6) pemboran air tanah. Hasil kegiatan PkM menunjukkan adanya potensi air tanah dari data deskripsi litologi bawah permukaan untuk lintasan ERT 1 dan ERT 2. Deskripsi litologi bawah permukaan menggunakan nilai resistivitas hasil pengukuran geolistrik. Lokasi pemboran air tanah berada di lintasan ERT 2 dan berhasil mendapatkan air tanah pada kedalaman 32 m. Air tanah yang berhasil didapatkan menjadi sumber air bersih yang mampu menjaga produktivitas pertanian kelompok tani Taman Sari Indah dalam menghadapi musim kemarau.
